See what a bride did after her dad refused to walk her down the aisle

Vivian at her trad wedding

A Nigerian bride,  Vivienne Ikechi Ajoku, who got married today had her mum walk her down the aisle after her dad refused to play the role.
Vivienne disclosed thus:

Vivian and her Man
Vivian and her mum walking down the aisle

Oh! the grieve I got because I asked my mother who had me at the age of 15, to walk me down the aisle. I appreciate the idea of having a great dad walk the child down, but when my own father refuses to be present in my life should I killl myself . I found great joy in having a female marry myself and @ajpapa_1 and an even greater joy honouring @vienstylezmum for doing her best in creating a better future for me. Cheers to the #motherofthebride .

As September comes to end in a few hours, KFB brings you this inspiring mesage!

Image result for beans

My mother used to cook beans, but before she cooked the beans, she picked the bad and dirty beans and threw them at our backyard and only cooked the good beans.
.
But when the rain came, the dirty and bad beans became seed and grew up and looked beautiful; interestingly, that same person who threw them away started harvesting them; and she starts to see that the beans she threw away some time ago had value.

*Now let me tell you*

1. Don’t cry when people throw you at the backyard,
2. Don’t cry when they reject you,
3. Don’t cry while they are looking down at you.
The rain is coming and the same people who are rejecting you will invite you.
God loves even those that are left out and looked down upon.
God will bless you, just stay connected to Him and everyone will see how valuable you are.

KFB’s heart-to-heart: ““I Tested Her With Just A “Small Slap” And She Called Our Wedding Off”

So a prospective Nigerian groom has shared online what he did to his wife-to-be that had her call their wedding off.

An anonymous guy shared with relationship IG page, makeup or breakup, how he slapped his wife just a little bit, so as to correct her for doing something he doesn’t like her doing.
According to him, the “correction slap” was given to her because she answered his phone and he has warned her not to always pick his calls.
He wrote:

Our wedding is this Saturday and for the first time in my life I just gave her one small slap and she threw my ring to my face and called it off . If a woman can not endure a little slap from the man she loves then what can she endure in the marriage ? Just correction slap and she is forming yanki girl saying domestic violence, how ? Should I beg her ? Or do you people think she is unserious . My mum said she is not a serious wife . I slapped her because she picked my call and I have warned her never to try it, because I don’t puck hers or go close to her phone .

What do you think ?

How a Peacemaker was beaten to death While Trying To Settle A Fight In Ogun

Peacemaker Reportedly Beaten To Death While Trying To Settle A Fight In Ogun
A 31-year-old man, Yinka Adewoyin, was reportedly beaten to death while trying to stop two men from fighting in Ogun state.

According to THE NATION, the sad incident happened on Thursday.

The deceased was on his way back home from a beer parlour with a few friends when he saw two men identified as Kazeem aka Down gear and Mopo beating an elderly mechanic called Mukaila Lasisi.
Kazeem was said to have scolded Lasisi for fixing a truck parked by the roadside, ordering him to remove it from that spot, an order Lasisi refused to follow as he isn’t the owner of the vehicle.
Angered by Lasisi’s refusal to adhere to his order Kazeeem beat up the old man and was in the act when Adewoyin, passed.
The duo however queried Adewoyin’s audacity to intervene and beat him mercilessly till he fell down, hit his head on the ground and passed into a coma.
His assailants allegedly bolted while Adewoyin was taken to a nearby private hospital by bystanders. He was said to have died at the hospital three days after he was admitted.
The deceased was described by one of his former trainees, Tosin, as humble and respectful. He said:

“Throughout my stay with him as apprentice, he did not fight with anyone. I was therefore shocked when I was told on the telephone that he was killed during a scuffle.”

Hurricane Irma survivor dies in accident a week after coming home (Photo)

They say ‘You cannot cheat death’. A tragic holidaymaker who survived the devastating Hurricane Irma has died in a motorbike crash just a week after he came home.
According to Mirror.co.uk, Jamie Thomas was staying at a villa in Kissimmee, Florida, when the Category Five storm struck on September 10.
The 28-year-old helped board up the property and reassured friends and family that he was safe amidst the devastation.
Jamie returned to the UK on September 17 but died a week later when his motorbike struck a horsebox near his home in Gloucestershire.
His friend in Florida, Rina Alicia, said: “Jamie was more than a friend to us. He was our family in our hearts and he felt the same way.
“He said I was his American mom and my daughter was his little sissy. They did so much together. She is distraught over his loss, we all are.
“Jamie had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone.
“My daughter and I were coming to his mum’s house for a vacation and he was taking four days off to take me and his sissy to London with his mum.
“God knows he had love all over, his personality was rare, a blessing.

Mother and daughter undergo Caesarean operation to deliver their babies at the same time (Photos)

A 42-year-old mother and her 21-year-old daughter gave birth at the same time in a situation that physicians have described as “miraculous.”
The woman and her daughter underwent Caesarean sections together at a Turkish hospital.
Fatma Birinci, 42, gave birth to her child earlier today at the same time as her daughter Gade Birinci, 21, in the Turkish city of Konya.
The pair fled their native country, Syria, three years ago because of the devastating civil war and found out they were pregnant in the same week.
The two new-born boys have been named Recep and Tayyip, the first two names of the current Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, according to Turkish news outlet Ensonhaber.
Erkan Ataş, the chief physician of the hospital, visited the family in the hospital room after the successful birth.
He said: “This is an event that I have never heard of. They have escaped from the war into our country and have taken refuge in Turkey for three years.”
Doctor of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Naim Unsal, called the birth a ‘miracle’, noting that the mother’s previous births were all cesareans.

‘I didn’t want to be liked out of pity’ – Wheelchair-bound woman reveals how she found true love (Photos)

The stories we are beginning to see these days are proof that no physical challenge can stop from finding true love. Recently we brought you the story of a woman by name, Miss Bukola Adeosun who exchanged marital vows with Mr Dada Olawale Afolabi, who has cerebral palsy and mobile disability here.

Now, a wheelchair-bound woman, by name Khaitan, is a happily married woman to a  loving husband who carries her and cooks for her after people said she will never find love. Read their love story below. How it all started….

At the age of 13, Sneha Khaitan Jaiswa was diagnosed with Limb Griddle Muscular Dystrophy (LGMD), a condition that made it gradually impossible for her to lift or move her limbs. “In the beginning, people thought it was just laziness, but slowly they realized I was not making it up,” says the now 27-year-old who grew up and went to school in a small village in Bihar, India.

By the time Khaitan was 24, she was no longer able to walk without support. “My heels turned upwards and my spinal cord started bending,” she says, adding that it also became difficult to attend a far-distance college in Bagalpure, where he had been admitted upon completion of 10th grade.

Now wheelchair-bound and with nothing much to do at home, Khaitan decided to teach herself graphic designs. And soon she was sharing her work on social media.
With her disability, people concluded that her life was, practically speaking, over. They said she will never find love, much less get married. But they were wrong. One fateful day, a stranger reached out to Khaitan via social media to tell her that he liked her designs, to which she responded with a ‘thank you’.

It was the beginning of something special. “He reached out again and said he liked me. I refused to accept and told him I was on wheelchair. I also told him I didn’t want to be liked out of pity. He said he already knew, and that he loved me nevertheless,” Khaitan narrates on ‘Being You’ Facebook page.

The social media chats quickly escalated into real dates between the pair and the mystery gentleman proposed twice. She accepted in both occasions. Today, Khaitan is a happily married woman with loving husband who carries her and cooks for her. And she loves preparing breakfast for him. Life has never been the same again.

Some parents encourage their daughters to travel to Europe for Prostitution

Some parents encourage their daughters to travel to Europe for Prostitution
A staff of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons [NAPTIP], has revealed exclusively that some parents actually encourage their daughters to travel to Europe to become sex slaves, so they could send money to them.

The NAPTIP official, Esther Otegheri who revealed this shocking fact to Pulse, said many of the sex slaves the agency have managed to rescue in some European countries like Italy, Russia, Germany, and Spain, claim that their parents pushed them into the trade.

Otegheri also posited that some parents go as far as providing the money for their wards to travel out or take them to shrines to swear to oaths that they will not abandon the sex trade when they get to Europe.
“It will shock Nigerians to know that most of the girl who gets trafficked to Europe to engage in prostitution are often encouraged or pushed into it by their own parents,” Otegheri begins.
Otegheri who was one of the NAPTIP officials who just came back from Europe where they managed to rescue some girls who were trafficked for the sex trade, said that some girls they rescued are as young as 13 and most of them had undergone untold hardship and were exposed to various kinds of diseases.
“I wept bitterly when we saw some of these girls who were as young as 13 roaming the streets of Europe soliciting for men to have sex with them for money.
They have these madams whom they report to and any money they make is used to offset the debts they owe the madams or send back home for their parents to pay off the people they borrowed to send them to Europe.
There are girls aged 13, 14 and 15 on the streets of Europe, selling themselves for money. They are so young, vulnerable and having terrible experiences. Some of them are exposed to sexually transmitted diseases because many of the patrons prefer sleeping with them without condoms.
Only the strongest of hearts would not cry when you see them or hear their stories. Many of them go through harrowing experiences before they get to Europe all in the name of making a living for themselves and their families.
In the course of our investigations, we discovered the routes these traffickers operate from and it would break your heart to see what they go through.
We discovered that some of these young victims go through the border between Sokoto and Bori Koni in the Niger Republic while some trek through the deserts taking the Katsina Maradi-Niamey-Ouagadougou-Mali, on to Libya before crossing the Mediterranean sea into Europe.
We also discover that majority of the victims are trafficked through Lagos to Cotonou for onward trafficking to Europe, with the connivance of Immigration and Customs officials.”
It has been discovered that Nigerians make up the biggest nationality crossing the Mediterranean in smuggling boats launched from Libya, and many of the migrants are girls and young women who are destined for the sex trade.
“Many of the girls come from very poor families and the parents feel the only way they can come out of their poor status is if their daughters could travel Europe and engage in prostitution. That is how low most of our parent’s reason.
Many of the girls have not been to school or have very little education, so they are easily taken advantage of. They dream of a better life in Europe, they see Italy as a paradise.
You will be surprised to hear some parents even boasting about their daughters who are in Europe and when you ask them what the girls do, they will be proud to tell you that they are hustling.
For them, hustling means one thing: prostitution. They are not ashamed to say it and it is very pathetic.
Some of these girls have little or no idea where they are heading or what they would do when they are being trafficked out of Nigeria. They don’t know the danger in front of them only to realize it when they get to a point of no return, and they would have no option but to fall in line.
They are forced into prostitution and if they refuse, they are beaten up, detained and threatened with juju. It is very sad.”
Otegheri also pointed out that the victims of the sex trade live in terror of the madams who run them, as well as organized Nigerian gangs who operate as a mafia team and are used to whip the girls into line.
“The madams are like demi-gods, and they control the girls in every way imaginable, from beating, torture, illegal imprisonment and threats of death.
There are also Nigerian gangs organized like the Mafia and they are used by the madams to intimidate, abuse and terrorize the girls.
The gang often kidnap the girls, rape them and force them into the streets to solicit for men.
Even some local churches are not left out in the trafficking. We have arrested some so-called pastors ho run these trafficking trade. They pretend to send these girls abroad to work when they know they are being sent to become prostitutes.
Once the girls arrive in Italy or other parts of Europe, they are made to sign agreements to pay back between 30,000 to 50,000 Euros to the madams before they are free to be on their own.
Most of them can spend three to five years without being able to pay up the money, thereby living in perpetual bondage.
The exploitation of these minors by their parents and the organized sex trade rings is rather pathetic. The way our government is handling the matter is also not encouraging. We have advocated for these rings to be smashed by all means but they still keep sprouting and it is worrisome.”
The problems associated with human trafficking for the purpose of engaging in prostitution is hydra-headed and the government needs to take serious measures to checkmate it.
Some of the measures that have been advocated include investment in quality education for the youths, sensitizing the people, especially those in the rural communities to reach the most vulnerable people who think traveling abroad is the one sure way of beating poverty.
The government should also create employment and skills acquisition opportunities to enable the young girls to learn a trade because a large number of the trafficked persons were lured into the act due to unemployment and poverty.

Despite various twists that have occurred with the latest brouhaha and separation between the P-sauafe brothers including the fight in a leaked video, many still believe that it is all a publicity stunt, something more of a drama…
Veteran broadcaster, Kenny Ogungbe has this to say and has asked some real big questions…

Veteran broadcaster, Kenny Ogungbe, popularly known as Baba Keke is one of those who feel so.
During his radio show on Kennis FM on Wednesday, the Kennis Music record label boss said he believes the fight between the P-Square brothers is a publicity stunt.
“I am sure they have a massive show coming up in December and they are using this as a publicity stunt. They have over 100 songs and people who called us on the radio within 15 minutes, requested for about 29 of their songs.
“If you are breaking up after recording about 100 songs, will you break up to record another big song as a solo artiste? At what age? How many songs are they going to release that would be up to what they have released already? At what age do they want to do that when people are interested in listening to songs released by younger artistes? Quote me anywhere that I said it is a game. In the video that was released online, Paul said it was a shame to Peter. It is a game (laughs). Quote me anywhere that I said that it is a game but if they don’t get back together, good luck to them,” he said.

‘I can gladly say that I never cheated’ – Chris Attoh says as he gives marriage advice

It is no longer news that the 2-year-old marriage of Ghanaian actor, Chris Attoh to actress, Damilola Adegbite crashed. He has revealed that he never cheated on his wife after being accused of cheating on her. Read below…
During a Podcast interview with to Bola Ray on Starr Chat, a female listener who recently got married asked Chris for advice and he said;

Marriage is a beautiful thing and more importantly, Marriage is serious business. It’s a partnership, it’s not a game of chess and if you look into your bible, you will find out that God said, a man who finds a wife finds a good thing. It also says that man is better off on his own but if you do find a wife, you find a good thing. So it’s an addition, you are an addition to that destiny.

I think that we have forgotten what the fundamentals of marriage comes down to. When you love someone, you should be able to forgive, respect, submit and these are the things that are important.
Speaking further, Chris Attoh said that women should learn to trust the husband, who are the captain of the ship if they want peace. He said;
As a woman, you need to trust the captain of the ship. It’s truly important if you want peace in your home and I will always always resound this, it is amazing how many lessons you would find in your bible. If you’re a Christian, trust me, it’s your bible that will get you through your marriage days.
Bola asked him if overlooks all the advice he is giving in his own marriage and if that was why it crashed, Chris Attoh replied saying “No one is perfect and I’m not here to talk about my marriage”
Asked if he has any regrets about the crashed marriage Chris Attoh replied no, saying that he has gained a wealth of experience.
I feel like life is too short for any regrets. everything that happens, happens for a reason. I have a beautiful baby boy, I have a wealth of experience and I have a lot of work to do. There are a lot of youths out there that needs to be guided. He said
Another listener called in saying that he is lying and accused him of cheating on his wife which she alleged led to the crash of the marriage. Chris Attoh denied the allegations saying that he never cheated on his wife. He said;
I can gladly say that I never cheated because I didn’t find a reason to. when you keep yourself busy as well, it helps.
