A security official was pictured ordering pupils of a secondary school in Calabar to pack refuse with their bare hands for dumping garbage on the ground.
Many online users have since condemned the act and called for the punishment of the security official.
One Benjamin Yinka writes “Haba this is too inhuman, why using bare hands where brooms and other sweeping materials can be useful…. I didn’t say punishing them is wrong though but we can still be civil while passing out judgement…”
While one Ogechi Beke writes “This is unacceptable. Why do this to these kids? Has he forgotten that bacteria or diseases could be gotten through this. Haba”
